Offering a beautiful design and layout, the Interior Design Show Toronto was an elegant take on the traditional trade expo. Gorgeous booth designs and on-trend products offered visitors a look at what's new and innovative in the interior design world. An open concept floor plan allowed show visitors to see across the expanse to desirable booths in the distance. On paper the show looked unbelievably massive. However, once on the trade show floor the size and space was perfectly manageable for the average person to walk within 2-3 hours. This allowed for ample time to explore, ask questions, and acquire fantastic new design ideas.
The attitude and approach of the people working the booths was very relaxed, employing low-key sales and promotional tactics with no hard selling. Most presenters made themselves incredibly approachable and helpful, and their informed facts and opinions made the experience very enjoyable.
Marathon Hardware experienced a warm reception by the design community and the general public for our designer friendly, no-nonsense booth design. The stand-out European decorative hardware from Viefe was a showcase within itself with the favourite being the Graf 2 featuring its knurled texture and brushed gold finish. The best-in-class, fully integrated push-open and soft-close drawer slide system from King Slide was also a clear winner for its functionality and usefulness in modern kitchen design.
Whether you were able to make it to IDS or not, your opportunity to check out our entire product offering is not lost. Our Mississauga Showroom is fully outfitted with the Viefe product lineup, as well as hundreds of other products designed to inspire your next project.

Miele Consumer Products
The glass encased booth had the look and feeling of a high-end restaurant / airport lounge. Working appliances and a presentation that included food sampling by a private chef propelled Miele’s booth beyond the expectations of the average trade show guest.
