About True Position Tools
Founded in 1996 by Tad Lostlen, True Position Tools was started to design a cabinet hardware tool that would maximize efficiency and minimize error. This led to the creation of the top product of its kind, the Cabinet Hardware Jig.
More than 20 years later, True Position Tools is proud to have manufactured over 70,000 jigs. This has saved cabinet makers and installers countless hours of labour and costly mistakes. With a background in sales and marketing, Tad’s son, James has directed the company since 2005. Joining in 2014, his other son, Paul is equipped with a background in 3D modeling and photography.
